Pregnancy & Postpartum Rehabilitation

Pregnancy and childbirth place significant demands on the pelvic floor and core. We help guide patients safely through recovery and return to exercise, lifting, and running.

We treat:

  • Pregnancy-related pelvic girdle pain

  • Postpartum pelvic floor weakness

  • Diastasis recti

  • Postpartum core weakness

  • Urinary leakage after pregnancy

Rehabilitation includes core and pelvic floor retraining, progressive strength training, and movement coaching so you can return to activity safely and confidently.

Pelvic Pain & Pelvic Floor Dysfunction

Pelvic floor dysfunction can present in many different ways.  Our treatment focuses on restoring proper pelvic floor muscle coordination, breathing mechanics, and core strength.

Common conditions include:

  • Pelvic floor tension patterns

  • Chronic pelvic pain related to muscle dysfunction

Treatment may include manual therapy, breathing retraining, core coordination work, and progressive strength training to restore normal function.

Bladder & Bowel Health

Pelvic floor muscles play a key role in bladder and bowel control. Dysfunction in these muscles can contribute to symptoms that impact daily life.

Conditions we treat:

  • Urinary incontinence

  • Urinary frequency or urgency

  • Constipation

  • Difficulty coordinating pelvic floor relaxation

Treatment may include pelvic floor retraining, behavioral strategies, breathing work, and coordination exercises to restore normal function

      Return to Running &          High-Impact Activity  

Many individuals experiences pelvic symptoms when performing impact activities such as running, jumping or sport. We help build load tolerance and pelvic floor coordination so you can return to performance safely.

Common issues we address include:

  • Urinary leakage during running or exercise

  • Pelvic heaviness or pressure with impact

  • Postpartum return-to-run progression

  • Running-related pelvic floor dysfunction

Treatment focuses on gait mechanics, impact tolerance, strength training, and progressive return-to-run programming.

Low Back & Core Dysfunction

The pelvic floor, deep core, and spine work together to produce stability and control.  When one area is not functioning properly, it can contribute to pain or movement limitations.

We treat:

Low back pain

Core instability

Sacroiliac joint pain

Movement coordination issues

Rehabilitation focuses on deep core strength, hip strength, and functional movement patterns to support long-term pain relief and improved functions.
