ABOUT
At Pillar Performance you don't need to be injured, experience pain or be recovering from surgery to benefit from physical therapy. Physical Therapists are experts in analyzing and correcting movement, ensuring symmetrical strength throughout your body, and mitigating risk of injury. At Pillar Performance we emphasize the importance of physical therapy together with personal training as a Pillar of long- term health.

In our experience and that of many patients, most standard physical therapy visits end once you are no longer in pain. Rarely do they challenge the patient to perform high-level activities that closely mimic the demands of the sport, activity or lifestyle they hope to get back to.

The goal of Pillar Performance is to bridge the gap between standard physical therapy and high-level performance training. Empowering people to recognize with the right guidance, there's no limit to what they can achieve physically - even if previously told otherwise. Operating out of Sky Health, a fully equipped state-of-the-art fitness facility, we leverage our skill set as both physical therapists and strength coaches to provide the highest quality care for both acute injuries and as a Pillar of long-term health.

Tim is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. He began his career working in the business world in Manhattan, but quickly realized his passion lay elsewhere. Tim is an athlete, which naturally led him into the field of sports performance and rehab. After completing his Masters in Sport Science with a concentration in Strength and Conditioning at Hofstra University, Tim began what would be a successful personal training business. Three years later, Tim would go on to complete his Doctorate in Physical Therapy at Columbia University, where he received advanced training in orthopedics and sports. Tim has traveled the country working at elite performance facilities, training and rehabbing professional athletes from the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL.
Whether it's acute rehabilitation or enhancing sports performance, Tim utilizes an exercise-based approach that helps his patients channel their inner strength. Tim values education and is enthusiastic to teach all of his patients about the nature of their ailments. This philosophy helps his patients foster a sense of independence and ownership over one's own health, ultimately improving outcomes. Tim enjoys traveling with his wife, spending time with friends and family and playing golf. Tim is also a native New Yorker and loves chatting about all things Knicks and Giants.
