Return to Sports
Returning to sport after an injury requires more than simply eliminating pain. Athletes must demonstrate the strength, power, movement control, and sport-specific capacity required to safely return to competition. Our return-to-sport process combines rehabilitation, objective performance testing, and progressive sport-specific training to ensure athletes are fully prepared to return to play with confidence. We frequently collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, athletic trainers, and coaches to ensure a coordinated return-to-play process.
The Return to Sport Continuum
Successful return to sport follows a progressive process that gradually restores strength, movement capacity, and sport-specific performance. Our continuum ensures athletes are prepared for the increasing physical demands of competition.

Rehabilitation
Early rehabilitation focuses on restoring mobility, reducing pain, and rebuilding foundational strength following injury or surgery.
In this phase, we often utilize blood flow restriction training to help allow for muscular healing
Return to Sport Testing
Objective testing evaluates strength, power, movement quality, and limb symmetry to determine readiness for competition. Athletes receive a detailed performance report along with clear return-to-play recommendations.
Strength & Capacity Development
As symptoms improve, training progresses toward rebuilding strength, single-leg capacity, and foundational plyometric ability required for higher level movement.
